i wonder if it's common practice for other blogs to randomly change their blog names once in a short while. because i did it first and then connie did it and we both do it now to a ridiculous degree. so i'll just go rename my blog now again.

man, you totally should have kept the accordion. you were pretty close to the top of my all-time-favorite-heroes list after you bought it. okay, i made that up, but wow, an accordion. an ACCORDION. they remind me of amelie and france or any other european country. or lady and the tramp? i just got an image of the scene with the spaghetti and meatballs in my head. what a classic. ;)

so... i would have nothing to do right now. except.. sigh. i shouldn't go on about this english thing. i guess all i have to say is that i am majorly, majorly -- upset. about the situation. and that woman who shall remain nameless because she does not deserve to have her name on this blog. apparently, various parents complained to her last year and even the principal tried to convince her to take it easy on her class, but all to no avail. that is so messed up. she is messed up. and.. i need to stop.

i ate so much bad food today. bad as in junky, sugary nastiness. two donuts in latin and then some miscellaneous snack food around five. but oh, it was so good at the time. :o)

i guess i'll continue the game.

okay hi, i haven't blogged. i've been thinking about new site ideas, about whether i should continue with the unfinished one i have now and actually update and add to it, or maybe i should just have a new one. with my own blog. i don't know. if i'm going to be blogging at the rate i am now, then that would be -- a dumb idea.

the star wars kid reminds me of matt gyory. i have some sort of problem with matt gyory. i also have a problem with star wars, and people who like star wars too much. it reminds me of that clip with the puppet dog and the fans ....

so this weekend was more eventful than most. job interview at york telecom went all right, i suppose. playing piano for michelle and janet at the talent show was okay. the two guitarists from nemo are really talented. so are a few other musicians from our school. i think i might just stop playing piano and concentrate on becoming a guitarist. yeah right. we went out to applebee's afterwards, had appetizers, and i didn't have to spend anything, courtesy of janet and michelle -- or was it just janet? i returned the accordion at jack's music on saturday morning in full, but for store credit. the guy was really nice about it because he originally had told me
"no guarantees" on the accordion, which pretty much meant no returns or exchanges, but on saturday he offered to give me back one hundred in cash. but my mom said she could use the store credit.

oh, and then after a boring afternoon doing miscellaneous chores around the house, we -- serena, dave, steph, and i -- went to see "the italian job" and "down with love"! i'd never been to a sneak preview, but if they have it often with good movies, i think i could pick up a habit of doing this. both were really good movies. anyone who sees "the italian job" should be reminded of "ocean's eleven", with similar star quality of the cast. and with suped-up mini coopers. "down with love" was amusing in its purposely campy 1960s style. david hyde pierce seemed like he had more hair than he does on "frasier" ...

and on sunday we filmed part of our spanish project, with myself playing a giant angry chipmunk. we continued it yesterday, and the video promises to be embarrassing and stupid. but funny. i think i may have gotten sick partially from being in the rain too often. or maybe because i was with serena, steph, and eric over the weekend. my throat is ow.

steffy, oh my!! but i'm glad you're better=) you know, i think i would have loooved that star theme in the ambulance! i really like those glow in the dark star things=) we should all stay young forever:)

prom sounds so exciting!! i want to go with you guys! you know, just to...like, see all the pretty people and stuff=) where's your preprom gonna be? when's your prom? i wanna come join in on preprom fun! and take pictures of all you guys whom i've missed so much!

i like summer break. even though there's work everyday for 8 hours and class right after for 3, i like my house! being in it for 40 minutes at a time is better than not being in it at all! sometimes when i'm running around the halls or from room to room i get this smell. the smell of my house, you know, cuz there's that thing in your head that makes you remember certain things when you smell certain things? ever seen someone like you? isn't hugh jackman hot? oops. a little sidetracked...;)

i'm gonan see xmen2 this weekend! FINALLY!! =D

ok gonna like. i dunno. play by myself in my room now=) i missed my room so much!!! glad to be home=)

so i have an interesting story for you all.
it begins early wednesday morning around seven fifteen when i am leaving for school. i have a mother of a stomach ache and i am dead tired. this crazy stomach ache continues throughout the day, and by fourth period, i have decided to go home and crash. which i promptly do. amidst a dark and hazy cycle of waking up and falling back to sleep, i somehow develop a fever of 101 while maintaining that lovely stomach problem. so around nine thirtyish, my mother becomes extremely paranoid (it might be appendicitis!) and decides to bring me to the emergency room. as i am sitting on the kitchen stool, my head goes weird and everything is swirling, and the next thing i know, i'm waking up on the floor as my mother is screaming into the phone to the 911 guy. so then the police and emts come, and as they try to take my vitals, i get dizzy again and my heart goes into weird beating patterns.. they stick an IV in my arm, strap an oxygen mask over my head, and roll me into the ambulance. i'm in riverview for forever, until they decide to transfer me to jersey shore because they have better pediatrics there that can monitor the weird heart thing they noticed before. i'm in jersey shore until around two thirty this afternoon, when i come home and sit around watching mtv for several hours.

a few things i learned from this little episode:
1. IVs hurt like mad after a while
2. if you ever go to a hospital, try to get yourself into the pediatrics wing (even if you're fifty) because the pediatrics ambulance is decorated with star stickers and glow in the dark stars and the wing itself is decorated with a fun marine theme =)
3. pediatricians are so cool
4. if you ever have a fever, get fluid into you no matter how nasty you feel
5. friends are nice, especially when they think you're on your deathbed and you're actually not. thanks, guys :)

mm, yeah, i think i'm staying home tomorrow.. ;)

where would we go camping anyway? new jersey isn't exactly prime campground. maybe we could go canoeing, and we could play bumper-boats and see who is the last to capsize. that could be very enjoyable.

my mom just realized that i haven't learned anything in latin:
mom (somewhat paraphrased into english): this vergil guy, he's a tragic character or something?
me: he's a poet
mom: waaaa. so these are all his poems you've been reading?
me: yea
mom: so you know what all these words mean now?
me: no
mom: then what do you do when you don't know the words?
me: you guess.
mom: you mean to say that you've taken latin all these years and you don't know what any of these words mean?
me: yea.
mom: well....

latin didn't just fall with rome. my guess is that it was brutally murdered by all those sensible non-romans who realized what an awful language it was.

okay, so we were discussing post prom plans today, and i've decided that i am thoroughly excited for prom. :) i can't wait to see everyone all dressed up and beautiful.. and i can't wait to go camping! wahaha. i don't care what all those wussy boys think, but i think it will be tres, tres chic. so. it's all over. i've had a few hours to let it sink in, so i'm not as excited anymore. but the freedom is still a loooovely feeling. :) i went home right after school and i watched "catch me if you can" after reading some king lear. good movie.. leonardo dicaprio was super slick and cool. tom hanks's baahston aaccent got a little weird after a while though. caahrl haandratty. i wonder how boston got that accent.

and for all you strongbad fans out there... check out the new teen girl squad(!!). it's awesome stuff :)

who is donald sutherland. today's ap calc exam wasn't too bad at all, but it was so long argh. and when i decide to eat a second bagel during the ten-minute break, mr. sanandaji-whatever-his-name comes in and says "okay guys let's go". i like everything bagels, i've realized. i've also realized that during testing situations, i have this annoying habit of picking my nose and putting my boogers in the pages of the exam book.

tom cruise looked good with long hair. i know, i know -- i stopped playing this blog game. anyway, it's 12:14 on wednesday night (or thursday morning) and i started studying this calculus about half an hour ago. but it's been a very productive half hour so far. ... evidently, because i'm here writing this. dave told me the calc exam was easy. he also told me something like (and i paraphrase here) "don't even study for it". okay, so i won't, much.

my mom makes this really good salad dressing which is supposedly also really healthy. supposedly it's a japanese recipe, and it actually does taste a lot like what they put on the salads in japanese restaurants. and the point of my mentioning this is that i ate this salad while watching "rounders" (again) today, a little after nine. gretchen mol is pretty. the music in rounders has this string part that seems like it's about to build, but it doesn't. it just stays the same, and somehow that makes it sound foreboding. one of my favorite scores is the one from "mi:2", because hans zimmer is just that amazing. listen to "hijack" and "nyah" from that recording.

i'll come to a lacrosse game sometime this season. i promise.

you know what movie looks really good? "the italian job". ed norton, mark wahlberg, charlize theron ... am i missing someone? i want to mention someone old, like anthony hopkins or robert de niro. okay i don't know why. i still haven't seen "ronin" or "in the mood for love" or so many of those hong kong and korean romantic dramas. all right i'm becoming incoherent.

shouldn't have long hair. guys don't look very good with long hair.. even guys like hugh jackman, who now has hair down to his shoulders for some role. he also has a tendency to flip it out of his face in an extremely effeminate way, which is sad to me because he is so good looking. :)

no one has been here for a while. and i don't feel like studying for calc. therefore... i will blog. it's always nice to have a plan to fall back on when all your other procrastination methods (ie stalking via xangas, blogs, and profiles) fail you. anyway. i don't even have much to say. besides complaining about that disgusting thing called aps. gah. i don't like them. they take away all my energy and sanity. seriously, i was in the weirdest mood after english lit yesterday. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK. 1) the end of aps, 2) the matrix reloaded (oh man), 3) x-men 2, and who knows what else. aaaahhh. the suspense is killing me.

on another note. we had a game against ocean today. i think they were number one in the division last year, and needless to say, we lost rather horribly. the best part was george, paige, and dave coming to watch. haha, thanks guys. =) always good to have fans to witness a fantastic loss. hehe. we were winning at one point, so that was fun. i need to work on scoring. being that i am an attack wing and have scored.. oh, one goal so far this season. how very sad. so it's rbr tomorrow. we better kick some serious butt. grr. ><
